Easy POS Docs - Payments

Manual payments

The cashier types the amount received for each payment mode configured on the POS Profile — cash, card, UPI, or any custom mode — and the Terminal supports splitting a single sale across multiple modes.

Payment gateways (Razorpay)

Any POS Payment Method can instead be routed through a live gateway checkout (UPI QR / card, via Razorpay's Checkout modal) instead of the cashier typing a received amount. The invoice only finalizes once the payment is verified server-side — a dismissed or failed payment safely leaves the sale as a retrievable draft rather than a hard error.

Pluggable gateway architecture

Gateways are self-contained modules behind a small registry, so adding another provider (Stripe, PayPal, ...) in the future doesn't require touching the checkout screen itself. Razorpay is the first gateway shipped; see the Roadmap for what's planned next.

Receipt delivery

Once a sale completes, a receipt can be automatically emailed and/or texted to the customer — see Receipt Delivery.
